Proactive Gear System Care

GE Guard is a proactive gear treatment designed to help reduce friction, protect loaded contact surfaces, and support stable gear system performance. Once dispersed in the gear oil, the PTFE particles help create a low-friction protective layer on gear teeth, bearings, and other loaded surfaces, supporting reduced wear and more reliable operation over time.

System Compatibility & Blending
GE Guard is based on high-quality mineral gear oil and is designed to blend with most commonly used mineral gear lubricants.

Oil Compatibility Note
GE Guard is intended for selected mineral oil-based gear systems. For EAL or bio-oil systems, compatibility must be reviewed separately based on oil type, viscosity, additive package, system condition, and operating environmen.

Suitable System Types
GE Guard can be considered for selected mineral oil-based gear systems, including industrial gearboxes, marine gear systems, drive units, bearings, gear teeth, and other loaded contact surfaces where friction, wear, heat, or vibration are key concerns.

Assessment Before Application
Each application is reviewed individually to ensure the treatment is suitable for the gear system, oil type, and operating conditions. This helps ensure correct blending, dosage, and application guidance.
