TH Guard
Proactive Thruster Care
TH Guard is a proactive thruster treatment designed to help reduce friction, protect critical sealing and contact surfaces, and support long-term seal performance. Once dispersed in the oil system, the PTFE particles help create a low-friction protective layer on loaded surfaces, supporting stable operation and reduced wear over time.
System Compatibility & Blending
Thruster Guard is based on high-quality mineral lubrication oil and is designed to blend with most commonly used mineral thruster lubricants.
Suitable System Types
Thruster Guard can be considered for selected mineral oil-based thruster systems, including tunnel thrusters, azimuth thrusters, and thruster seal / lubrication applications, as well as common lip seal, face seal, and air seal arrangements where applicable.
Assessment Before Application
Each application is reviewed individually to ensure the treatment is suitable for the thruster system and operating conditions. This helps ensure correct blending, dosage, and onboard application guidance.

Scenario
